Oh, Louise, Eleanor Farjeon! I found Martin Pippin in the Apple Orchard when I was a child at the local library and was completely entranced by it ... later on I found The Little Bookroom and could imagine no place more heavenly. (When the nuns at school declared that if I really, really wanted something and really, really prayed for it, then God would give it to me, so I prayed for a Little Bookroom of my own, and now, looking around the office which I really, really need to tidy up, see that my prayer has at last been answered.) How thoroughly delicious to know that you're introducing to her to your daughter, that has put a definite spring in my step!

I’d like to read The Lady’s Room, The Little Bookroom and A Necklace of Raindrops. Your time spend with your grand daughter will create so many wonderful memories.
