How beautiful to read your last paragraph, where you mention that you are curious to see how your wishlist will look in one year from now. As I stopped reading and watching everyone that would make me feel the urge to make a list, wait 24h andd buy, you are inspirational, Louise! The maturity of knowing you have bought through the years all that you like, knowing yourself and what you want but not be in a rush... I loved this post and I love reading your thoughts. I look up to you 😉 have a good Sunday!
Thanks Cristiana, you are so sweet! I think I just reached my tipping point, but I am very much hoping I stay as happy with my current wardrobe as I am now!
I am ready for summer! Melbourne winters are mild and short thankfully, but I just miss breathing warm air and walking around my house barefoot. This summer I am looking to long shorts, and loose shirts. Have enjoyed reading your summer diaries, they've added to my desire for long, sunny days!
Also I gotta say I've never been to a Zara Home and don't really plan to, but if anyone could get me through the door, Lucinda Chambers could. Her Collagerie collection with Zara is so good!
Oh, this is so beautiful and descriptive! You make a “semi-feral” Italian small town summer sound just perfect. 😍 Also, the liberty pjs look beautiful! And you know I clicked through to those silver ballet flats!🩶
Yes, I remember you featuring metallic flats and nearly falling off my wagon! I’m hoping my sister will bring the ones I ordered out in a couple of weeks so I can see how they fit.
It sounds like you're summer is very relaxing, and idyllic, summer. I enjoyed hearing about the items on your wishlist, even if you don't end up getting them, and those silver ballet flats are stunning!
Well now you're influencing me to add silver mary janes! I think you'll love them - the color is so versatile and it truly goes with everything. I just added a silver leather midi wrap skirt to my silver collection and I can't wait for cooler weather to wear it non-stop!
I love to read about your life in your hometown. I also have summers off and I think about clothing the same as you…mostly for work or the rare times I socialize. I love the shoes you’ve been looking at and even was looking at several similar ones myself this evening when I meant to knit. 🧶 speaking of knitting I love that blanket you’re working on! The colors are *chef’s kiss*

I was influenced by you! I have always enjoyed your penchant for silver footwear, and I love your brown Mary-Janes.

The skirt sounds amazing, can’t wait to see it!

Thanks Danielle! The yarn is from Shetland, and it’s unbleached, and dyed with natural dyes. https://www.uradale.com/
It’s quite rough, so it makes a good winter throw rather than something to have right next to your skin, and the colours are incredible!
The colors are so special.
