Love the quest for the perfect black cardigan and embracing the Friulane lifestyle. I had a treasured navy pair that I wore to a Saturday theatre group. Ever since you mentioned them I’ve been noticing them in the shops.

They are perfect for warmer but not hot weather.

Ugh the purples and blues together are so magical. Your list makes so much sense as does the idea that a no buy really trains your eye for future shopping. The Friulanes are perfect with everything, apparently.

The no-buy lets you sit with an idea and really think about whether it will work, with no pressure, and that's useful for me - I would totally have bought a couple of knit jackets, and then realised I probably didn't need them, whereas going through the seasons and becoming aware that I just never thought they would be something I wanted to reach for every morning made me sadly aware of the fact that they just wouldn't be useful. Unlike the friulane, which have been game changers!

The palette of your spring rack is ace. I've been loving purple undertones in my clothing lately, and it's giving me hope that I may yet expand my colour palette horizons some day.

I have so many pieces in that purple linen! I love purple on its own, but I also love it with black, blue, and green, so all the colours I wear work together quite efforlessly!

Gorgeous list and photos. Definitely going to looking out for Liberty pjs when there's a discount.

It’s so worth it! I wear mine all the time, and they wash and iron beautifully!
